Hello, I’m Miss Atkinson and I teach Class 2. Our teaching assistants are Ms Calley and Miss Dowding and together we make a fabulous team.
As you know St Peter’s Brafferton is an amazing school and I love teaching here. The best part of my job is helping our Year 2 and 3 children progress along their learning journey in a safe and fun way. Our classroom is spacious, bright and filled with fun learning challenges and experiences.
We follow the school’s golden rules and this helps us to understand our school values of kindness, inclusivity and community. We definitely are a small school with a big heart.
Education is my passion and I have taught in different counties around England and in different year groups but teaching Year 2 and 3 at St Peter’s is definitely my favourite.
When I’m not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, walking and reading.
