The team at St Peter’s Brafferton Primary School really appreciate the time, willing and skills that parents can offer us and our children. The type of help that you can offer is:
- Help with the PTA (see below)
- Listening to children read in school
- Help with maths in school
- Help with school clubs
- Lunch time clubs
- Help with special classroom events
- Help with off-site activities and trips.
If you can offer any time to help out in school we would be very glad to hear from you. Please speak with your child’s classroom teacher or contact the school office. This will enable us to collect your information and area of interest and we can assist you in carrying out a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check which is required when working with children.
We do expect that all parent volunteers adhere to our school policies and Parent / Volunteer guidelines – these are available to read in school.

We are fundraising this year for:
New chairs for school events, projector screen, library furniture (stools/sofa), 3 x coaches for trips, panto, Class 2 wellbeing area, canopy for Class 1 outside area, 5 x ipads, new tarpaulin and pegs.
