St Peter’s Brafferton CE (VA) Primary School are seeking to recruit General Teaching Assistant to join our successful, warm and friendly village school team to work across classes from Preschool to Year 6.
This is a key position that requires a hardworking, flexible and friendly person, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Previous experience supporting children across early years to Key Stage 2 would be beneficial.
The position is 22.5 hours GTA and 5 hours after school club assistant across the week (term time only):
Mondays 10.30-2.30; Tuesdays 10.30-3.30 + 3.30-6pm; Wednesdays 9-2pm; Thursdays 10.30-3.30pm + 3.30-6pm; Fridays 10.30-3.30pm
The post is initially until the end of the academic year (July) but there is potential this could be extended further the next school year. We can also offer ad hoc additional hours in our busy holiday club or further before/after school club shifts.

Before and After School Club Assistant

Location: St Peter’s Brafferton CE VA Primary School & Helperbees Preschool
We are looking for a cheerful, friendly, and hard-working person to help care for our Preschool and school children at breakfast and after school club.
The position is 11 hours per week- Monday breakfasts 8-9am, Mondays afterschool 3.30-6pm, Tuesdays after school 3.30-6pm, Thursdays 3.30-6pm and Fridays 3.30-6pm
Duties will include providing high quality after school care in a safe and positive environment. You will need to be able to supervise children and plan and organised a range of interesting and engaging activities. You will also need to be able to prepare healthy snacks, and food hygiene training will be provided if required.
There is the possibility of availability of additional hours working in our popular holiday club during the school holidays too.
